Solar Street Lights

Design Edge researched solar street lighting worldwide and developed a unique pole, lamp / reflector frame and solar panel support system to provide a library of parts for multiple product versions. Products needed to configure as 3m, 4.5m and 6.5m poles; 1, 2 or 3 solar panels at varying angles depending on latitude of location; and end use lighting application. Product versions covered applications for Developing Countries, Exhibition Expo Environs, Parks & Pathways and Suburban Side-streets. This complex project was executed working as a team player with eco-design consultants and illumination, structural, electronic, battery storage, corrosion and vibration engineers.
