Current Transformer

Current Transformers, in 100A, 500A and 1000A versions, are used to measure the current within power distribution cables. The complete CT housing is manufactured from only 4 injection moulding cavities.

This was achieved by repeated use of parts from each cavity with design details that allow parts to fit to themselves to create the end product. For example, the pair of donut core halves are housed in the same moulding used 4 times.
